Owner Sophia Stevenson starting caring for pets at an early age, when she volunteered to be a neighborhood dog walker for several elderly neighbors. Since then, she has cared for animals at a zoo, several humane societies and Apex. She has been in business for over three years.
Sophia also began formally training dogs in 2003 and went from being an obedience class participant to teaching classes for the local kennel club. Sophia has also shown dogs and achieved several titles with her canine companions in AKC rally and obedience.
Caring for and working with animals continues to be one of her biggest passions, and she embraces continuing education in the fields of animal care and behavior. Recently, she completed the American Red Cross courses in dog and cat first aid and FEMA courses centered around caring for animals in disasters. She also continues to participate in webinars on various pet care and pet sitting topics.
