Service Descriptions:
Initial Consultation:
Initial meeting with pet owner and pets. Includes discussion of service requirements and completion of applicable forms. Once on file, pet owner may make subsequent reservations by phone/internet as long as there are no excessive changes in service requirements, new pets, or a new location.
Visit:
Thirty minute visit includes feeding, watering, medications, playtime, and affection. The following services are also included at no extra charge:
- Bringing in newspapers and mail
- Answering telephones/taking messages
- Turning TVs and radios on/off
- Taking trash cans to curbs and/or returning them
Midday Walk/Care:
Fifteen to twenty minute visit can include dog walk, administration of medications, playtime, affection, and/or vigorous exercise.
Sit and Train:
Hour long visit includes all care offered during a visit (see above), plus a thirty minute training session. Number of sessions will be determined at time of booking based on behaviors taught. Follow up notes will be left for owner.
Six Week Basic Obedience Course:
Six week course taught at owner's residence and covering sit, down, stay, heel, and come. Sessions will be forty-five minutes once per week with owner follow up and reinforcement required in between classes.
Initial Behavioral Consultation:
Meeting with dog and owner at training location to determine specific behavioral outcomes desired and to gather general information needed to construct a training prescription. Training prescription will outline course of subsequent training and goals.
Behavioral Visit:
One hour training session in which training prescription will be followed to help dog and owner make progress toward desired goals.
Notice to Pet Owners:
All bookings must be for subsequent days...no skipped days in between are allowed. Pets cannot be tethered or chained unsupervised during care. All pets must be included in booking. You must have veterinary information (primary and after hours care) ready at time of booking (or current information must be on file if repeat customer). Also, one emergency contact person is required.
Payment:
Payment is required within 5 business days following the last date of services. No refunds will be issued once services commence.
*Primary/outlying zones:
Standard fees apply when pet sitter offers services in the "primary zone." If services area extends beyond this zone, additional mileage fees may apply. An explanation of additional fees will be provided prior to services if this becomes applicable.
